Sugar Beet Presented the Fitzsimmons Award

The Village of Oak Park presented the Fitzsimmons Award to the Sugar Beet Co-op for our contributions to public health in Oak Park. Thank you all for your support!

Did you know that we have an advisory board called "Heal Thyself"? This group of health advocates, MD's, RD's are meeting regularly to explore how a community-owned grocery store can also serve as a wellness center that inspires people to eat for health. We are planning a health symposium for this Fall as well as other programming that will support the greater mission of The Sugar Beet Co-op. Local, sustainably grown food made accessible to all!
