Becci West, bartender extroidonaire from Autre Monde Café, will walk us through the infinite possibilities of Shrub Syrups which are perfect for snazzing up your cocktail repertoire. Made from fruit, veggies, herbs, vinegar and sugar, these punchy syrups are fermented and then added to spirits for an amazing cocktail.
Becci will show how to do a quick shrub (1-2 day process) or a traditional shrub (1-2 week process).
We’ll be tasting, of course, and you’ll go home with a recipe to start your own shrub, too!
