SEE: The crew from One Earth Film Festival will preview 2 inspiring food films in UNITY TEMPLE'S sanctuary.
ATTEND: 2:30-4 pm Seed Starting with Sharon Storbeck
In this workshop, we'll cover seed starting dates for edibles, organic soil mixes, how to create ideal growing conditions and trouble shooting. You will leave this class with a 12 spot tray and your choice of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, kale, chard and several edible flowers. We will have several varieties of tomatoes for containers if you are gardening on an apartment porch. We will discuss lighting, organic fertilizer and when these plants will be ready to transplant.
There is a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of materials.
