LEARN TO HOMEBREW

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

The American Homebrewers Association established Learn to Homebrew Day in 1999 to encourage homebrewers to introduce their non-brewer community members to the most rewarding hobby, obsession and lifestyle since the beginning of time!  “Homebrewing is a lifelong hobby that inspires creativity, camaraderie and community,” said Gary Glass, director, American Homebrewers Association. To celebrate, we will have members of the Oak Park Homebrewers Club in the store on Saturday, November 7th from 4 to 6pm brewing a batch of homemade (or more accurately co-op made) beer.  We invite you to join us as we learn about how simple it is to brew great beer in your own home.  The co-op will also be showcasing a selection of local beers.  Last year, 999 batches of beer were brewed by over 5,500 participants in 47 states and 4 countries, come help us be the 1,000th batch!
